This iPad mini took a tumble damaging the glass and digitizer. When the iPad Mini is unlocked, the touchscreen goes haywire, opening links and apps randomly. To fix this, we replaced the glass touchscreen only, as the LCD beneath was in full working order.
Upon further inspection, we found three dents in the frame that had to be fixed before we could proceed with repairing this cracked screen.
The original home button is then transferred to the new touchscreen (as the Touch ID function is bound to the hardware). The iPad Mini Touchscreen is tested again, sealed and ready for collection.
