Will my data be wiped during a Samsung repair?

No. Standard hardware repairs such as screen and battery replacements do not require a factory reset. A backup is always sensible before any repair.

Do Samsung screen repairs affect the fingerprint sensor?

We test in-display and side-mounted fingerprint sensors after every screen repair and confirm they are working before returning the device.

Repair context

Samsung repairs are model-specific for a reason.

Two Samsung Galaxy phones can share a name but use different display assemblies, charging boards or camera modules. S series, A series, Note and Z Fold models all have distinct repair routes and part availability.

In-display and side-mounted fingerprint sensors are tested after every screen repair and confirmed working before return.

Data is not wiped as standard

Normal hardware repairs do not require a factory reset. A backup is always sensible before any repair.

Diagnosis catches mixed faults

Use diagnosis for liquid damage, no power, boot loops, S Pen faults or multiple symptoms.

Do you wipe my Samsung during repair?+

No. Screen, battery and charging repairs do not include a factory reset as standard. We still recommend backing up first.

We test in-display and side-mounted fingerprint sensors after every screen replacement and confirm they are working before the device leaves us.

Can I choose between Samsung screen quality options?+

Where more than one screen option is available, we explain the difference before fitting it. Colour accuracy, brightness and in-display fingerprint behaviour can vary by part type.

Do you repair Samsung Z Fold and Z Flip foldables?+

Yes. Foldable screen repairs are model-specific and parts availability varies. Use the model finder to check your specific Z Fold or Z Flip model.

How long does a Samsung repair take?+

Many common Samsung screen and battery repairs are completed same day when parts are in stock. Mail-in repairs are assessed and completed quickly after arrival.

Can I walk in for a Samsung repair?+

Yes. Walk-ins are welcome at our Liverpool Street workshop near EC2M 1NH. You can also book online to avoid any wait. For mail-in repairs, place your order online and send the device by tracked post.
