How to block a number on iPhone (iOS 17 & iOS 18)
- Open the Phone app and tap Recents.
- Tap the ⓘ icon next to the number.
- Scroll down and tap Block this Caller.
- Confirm by tapping Block Contact.
Alternatively: go to Settings → Phone → Blocked Contacts → Add New to block any saved contact.
How to block a number on Android (Android 13 & 14)
- Open the Phone app and go to Recents.
- Long-press the number you want to block.
- Tap Block / report spam and confirm.
On Samsung One UI 6: go to Phone → ⋮ → Settings → Block numbers.
How to block someone on WhatsApp
- Open the chat, tap their name at the top.
- Scroll down and tap Block, then confirm.
To manage all blocked contacts: Settings → Privacy → Blocked Contacts.
