Screen and display faults
Screen replacement is usually the right option if the AMOLED display is cracked or shattered, showing green or coloured lines, has black patches or areas of discolouration, flickers during use, or the touchscreen no longer responds correctly. A drop can damage the display internally without visibly cracking the glass, so any of these symptoms after an impact points towards screen replacement. The under-display fingerprint sensor is tested as part of every screen repair.
Battery and power faults
Battery replacement is usually the right option if the Nord 4 drains significantly faster than it used to, shuts down unexpectedly at a reasonable charge percentage, overheats during charging or normal use, or if the back cover is lifting slightly, which can indicate a swollen battery that needs urgent attention. The 100W fast-charging places higher sustained demand on the cell than slower chargers, which accelerates wear over time. You can check battery condition in Settings > Battery > Battery Health.
USB-C charging port faults
USB-C port repair is usually the right option if the cable feels loose or does not seat securely, charging cuts in and out without the cable being moved, the phone charges slowly despite using the correct adapter, or accessories such as headphones, hubs or data cables are not recognised. If the fault appeared after liquid exposure, a water damage diagnosis is the right first step rather than a direct port repair.
Rear camera faults
Camera repair is usually the right option if photos are consistently blurry in clear conditions, the camera app shows a black screen or crashes on launch, autofocus hunts continuously without locking on, or the rear lens cover is cracked, which causes distortion and blur regardless of camera settings. The Nord 4 has three rear cameras and a fault can affect one or all of them depending on which module is involved.
Back cover faults
Back cover repair is usually the right option if the rear panel is cracked, shattered, or has sharp edges making the phone uncomfortable to hold. The Nord 4 carries IP54 splash resistance, which is compromised by rear glass damage. We check the sealing area after every back cover repair.
