The iPad 9th Gen (2021) uses a 10.2-inch Retina IPS LCD display with a non-laminated construction, meaning there is a small air gap between the outer glass and the LCD panel beneath. This design means that when only the glass is cracked and the LCD is undamaged, a glass-only touchscreen repair is often possible at a lower cost than a full display replacement. If the LCD is also damaged (lines, dead pixels, or a black screen), a full LCD replacement is needed instead.

Before you book
- If we discover water damage during your repair that affects the work, we will stop and let you know. A water damage diagnosis is applicable at the current fee, and we will confirm this with you before we proceed.
- If the frame is bent, the new screen may not align perfectly. We will advise before proceeding
- If there is liquid damage inside, screen replacement alone may not resolve all issues. We confirm our findings before starting
- If the device is completely non-functional, we recommend a diagnosis first
