Which camera needs repairing?
If you are not sure which camera has failed, check the camera app. Switching between lenses in the camera app will usually show which one is producing a black image, no image, or a blurred image. Bring the device in and we can confirm before booking if you are unsure.
- Front Facing: the 32MP selfie camera on the front of the device. Affects selfies and video calls only.
- Telephoto: the 50MP telephoto lens used for zoomed photos. A fault here only affects the zoom camera, not the main or wide lenses.
- Ultra Wide: the 50MP ultra wide angle dual module used for wide-angle and macro shots.
- Main / Wide: the primary 50MP Leica main sensor used for standard photos. This is the most heavily used camera and the most complex to replace.
