How It Works
- Diagnosis first – We test the port before committing to a replacement. If a thorough clean resolves the issue, we will tell you and not charge for parts.
- Replacement – If the port is confirmed faulty, the technician opens via the rear panel and fits a new charging assembly.
- Test and return – We verify charging speed, data connection and wireless charging before returning the device. Typical time: 1–2 hours.
Before You Book
- Try a different cable first – A worn USB-C cable is frequently the cause of intermittent charging. If a new cable resolves the issue, a port repair is not needed.
- Debris in the port – Lint compacted inside the port is very common. We will check this before replacing the port. If cleaning resolves it, we do not charge for parts.
- Liquid damage – Water ingress can corrode the charging circuit beyond the port itself. We will assess this on arrival and advise accordingly.
