How It Works
- Book or walk in – Book online or come directly to our workshop at 35 New Broad Street, EC2M 1NH during opening hours. No appointment required for walk-ins.
- Repair – Your technician removes the rear glass, replaces the full display assembly and battery, and reassembles the handset using the correct adhesive.
- Test and collect – We run a full check covering display brightness, touch accuracy, camera, audio, charging and Face ID before handing the phone back. Typical time: 1–2 hours.
Before You Book
- Bent frame – If your phone was dropped hard enough to bend the chassis, the new assembly may not seat correctly. We will assess this on arrival and let you know before starting work.
- Liquid damage – Pre-existing water ingress can complicate the repair. If your phone has been in contact with liquid, let us know when booking. A diagnosis may be required first.
- No power – If the phone will not switch on at all, book a diagnosis service first so we can confirm the fault before ordering parts.

Will my data be wiped when the battery is replaced?
No. A Huawei P30 Pro battery replacement is a hardware-only repair, so your photos, apps and settings stay exactly as they are. We still recommend a recent backup beforehand as good practice, in case the device has damage beyond the battery. Nothing about the battery procedure touches your storage.

My battery looks swollen, what should I do?
A swollen battery is a safety issue and should be dealt with promptly. Stop charging the Huawei P30 Pro, avoid pressing on the bulge, and arrange a replacement as soon as you can. Swelling can lift the screen or back panel and, left too long, can damage nearby parts. Bring it in or post it to us and we will replace the battery and check the surrounding components.

What warranty is included?
Every Huawei P30 Pro battery replacement includes a 6-month warranty, which covers the replacement battery and our fitting. If a warranty-covered fault appears within that period, we put it right at no extra cost. The warranty does not cover fresh liquid exposure or new accidental damage, which we always explain before you book.
