Is This the Right Repair?
- Photos are blurry or out of focus on the rear cameras
- 5x optical zoom (periscope telephoto) not functioning
- Camera app shows a black screen or crashes on launch
- Visible cracks on the rear camera lens glass
- Autofocus hunting or failing to lock
- Camera module making an audible grinding sound
This repair covers the rear Leica quad-camera module including the periscope telephoto lens. If only the camera lens glass is cracked but the camera functions correctly, a glass-only repair may be possible – contact us to confirm.
What Is Included
- Replacement rear camera module (12MP main + 20MP ultra-wide, periscope assembly)
- Full camera functional test after fitting – autofocus, zoom, video, night mode
- 12-month warranty on parts and labour
How It Works
- Diagnosis – We test all camera functions before disassembly to confirm the module is at fault and not a software issue.
- Replacement – The technician accesses the camera module via the rear panel and fits the replacement Leica assembly.
- Full test – We verify all lenses, optical zoom, autofocus, video and stabilisation before returning the handset. Typical time: 1–2 hours.
Before You Book
- Software check first – A camera app fault can sometimes be resolved by clearing the cache or resetting the camera settings. Try this before booking if the camera app crashes consistently.
- Front camera – This repair covers the rear module only. If your front camera is faulty, contact us for a separate quote.
- Drop damage – Heavy impact can damage the camera module mounting. We will inspect the chassis on arrival and advise if any additional work is needed.
